When I Think Of You

When I think of you
I think of the smile that always sat on your face
Even in the saddest of times.
When I think of you,
I think of the way we used to laugh and have fun together
And it makes me wonder why
Why you had to leave
And why you couldn’t stay
Even just for one more day
And if I had one more day with you
I would tell you I love you
And mean it
But when I think of you
I see your face in the mirror
And smell that smell
You always had
And when I think of you
It starts to make the whole world kind of sad.
