Deux jeunes comédiens montréalais ont connu un destin tragique hier matin sur l’autoroute 10 alors qu’ils se rendaient sur les lieux d’un tournage, en Montérégie.
Vadim Schneider et Jaclyn Linetsky, deux jeunes adolescents âgés de 17 ans, prenaient place dans une mini-fourgonnette qui circulait en direction est, à destination de Saint-Césaire.
Pour une raison toujours inconnue des policiers, la Chrysler Grand Caravan a dévié de sa trajectoire vers 10 h 20 pour traverser le terre-plein et se retrouver à contresens sur la 10 Ouest.
La perte de contrôle s’est produite à la hauteur du poste de pesée pour poids lourds de Brossard, au kilomètre 15, soit environ quatre kilomètres à l’est de l’autoroute 30.
Le véhicule conduit par un homme de 28 ans a frappé le flanc d’un camion semi-remorque qui s’amenait à vitesse normale.

«Il y a eu impact dans le réservoir à essence du poids lourd qui s’est enflammé immédiatement», relate l’agent Ronald McInnis, porte-parole de la Sûreté du Québec.
Déjà fortement amochée par la collision foudroyante, la minifourgonnette des victimes a poursuivi sa course sur une centaine de mètres, jusqu’au milieu du terre-plein, semant sur sa trajectoire des pièces de carrosserie.
Vadim Schneider, un résidant du secteur Outremont, a été éjecté et son décès ne faisait pas de doute. Les deux autres occupants sont demeurés prisonniers de l’amas de ferraille. Conduite à l’hôpital Pierre-Boucher, Jaclyn Linetsky n’a pas survécu.
État critique
Le seul survivant a dû être dégagé avec les pinces de désincarcération des pompiers de Longueuil. Son état était toujours considéré critique en soirée.
Quant au conducteur du fardier réduit en cendres, il a pu sortir à temps de son camion devenu un véritable brasier. L’homme souffrait de blessures mineures.
L’accident a forcé la fermeture de la 30 Ouest de longues heures, ce qui a causé un bouchon de circulation de plusieurs kilomètres. Le trafic était dévié par le poste de pesée et ce jusqu’à la réouverture de l’autoroute, vers 16 h.
Des techniciens en scène d’accident de la Sûreté du Québec se sont efforcés de reconstituer les circonstances de la tragique sortie de route. Une distraction ou un malaise pourrait expliquer le drame.
Les comédiens de 15/Love sont dévastés
Les comédiens de la série 15/Love étaient complètement dévastés, hier, à l’annonce de la mort de deux de leurs compagnons, Vadim Schneider et Jaclyn Linetsky.
La nouvelle a eu l’effet d’une bombe sur l’équipe, qui s’affairait à tourner le 11e épisode de la série de 26 au collège de Saint-Césaire, en Montérégie. Les jeunes comédiens se rendaient d’ailleurs au travail au moment de l’accident.
Les gens attendaient, hier après-midi, qu’un psychologue vienne les rencontrer pour les aider à surmonter leur peine.
«Il y a beaucoup de peine, beaucoup de larmes à Saint-Césaire aujourd’hui, a affirmé le directeur des communications de Gala Films, Puelo Deir. L’équipe était très proche. Ils étaient devenus des amis rapidement, ils passaient beaucoup de temps ensemble.»
Le tournage d’hier a été annulé, et M. Deir ne pouvait dire hier quand l’équipe reviendra au travail.
La voix de Caillou
Vadim Schneider et Jaclyn Linetsky en étaient à leur premier rôle d’importance de leur carrière.
Dans 15/Love, ils jouaient deux adolescents enrôlés dans une école de tennis qui tombaient amoureux.
Ils avaient confié au Journal, en entrevue au mois de juillet dernier, être «excités» par ce nouveau défi.
Jaclyn Linetsky est toutefois connue des tout-petits pour avoir été la voix anglaise du personnage Caillou entre 2000 et 2002.
Vadim Schneider, originaire de France, ne vivait au Québec que depuis sept ans.
Les familles des victimes étaient encore sous le choc, hier soir, lorsque le Journal les a rejoints.
«J’ai du mal à m’imaginer ce qui se passe…», a lâché le père de Vadim, Jean-Paul Schneider, avant de fondre en larmes.

Due giovani attori hanno conosciuto un destino tragico ieri mattina sull’autostrada 10 mentre si recavano nel luogo di una ripresa, a Montérégie.
Vadim Schneider e Jaclyn Linetsky, due giovani adolescenti di 17 anni, prendevano posto in un mini-furgoncino che circolava in direzione est, per Santo-Césaire.
Per una ragione sempre sconosciuta dei poliziotti, il Chrysler Grande Caravan ha deviato della sua traiettoria verso le 10:20 per attraversare il terrapieno e ritrovarsi a controsenso sul 10 Ovest.
La perdita di controllo si è prodotta all'altezza della stazione di pesata per un automezzo pesante di Brossard, al chilometro 15, a circa quattro chilometri all'est dell'autostrada 30.
Il veicolo condotto da un uomo di 28 anni ha colpito il fianco di un camion semirimorchio che si portava a velocità normale.

Già fortemente ammaccato dalla collisione folgorante, il minifurgone delle vittime ha continuato la sua corsa per un centinaio di metri, fino al mezzo del terrapieno, seminando sulla sua traiettoria dei pezzi di carrozzeria.
Vadim Schneider, un residente del settore Outremont, è stato sbattuto fuori ed il suo decesso non faceva alcun dubbio. Gli altri due occupanti sono rimasti prigionieri dell'ammasso di ferraglia. Condotta all'ospedale Pierre-Boucher, Jaclyn Linetsky non è sopravvissuta.
Stato critico
Il solo superstite è stato liberato con le pinze di disincastramento dei pompieri di Longueuil. Il suo stato era considerato sempre critico in serata.
In quanto al conducente del camion ridotto in ceneri, è potuto uscire in tempo del suo camion diventato un vero braciere. L'uomo aveva solo ferite lievi.
L'incidente ha costretto la chiusura del 30 Ovest per lunghe ore, e ciò ha causato un tappo di circolazione di parecchi chilometri. Il traffico era deviato dalla stazione di pesata e questo fino alla riapertura dell'autostrada, verso le 16:00.
Dei tecnici in scena di incidente della Sicurezza del Quebec si sono sforzati di ricostituire le circostanze della tragica uscita di strada. Una distrazione o un malessere potrebbero spiegare il dramma.
Gli attori di 15/love erano scioccati
Gli attori della serie 15/Love erano devastati completamente, ieri, all'annuncio della morte di due dei loro compagni, Vadim Schneider e Jaclyn Linetsky.
La notizia ha avuto l'effetto di una bomba sulla squadra che si affaccendava a girare il 11 episodio della serie al collegio di Santo-Césaire, in Montérégie. I giovani attori andavano al lavoro al momento dell'incidente.

Two young actors are killed on highway 10
Two young actors from Montreal found themselves caught in a tragic accident yesterday morning on highway 10 while on their way to a TV set in Montérégie.
Vadim Schneider and Jaclyn Linetsky, two young teenagers aged 17, were in a mini-van driving in an eastern direction, towards Saint-Césaire.
For a reason that is still unknown, the Chrysler Grand Caravan went off her original trajectory around 10:20 to go through the middle band of the highway to find herself in the wrong direction on highway 10 West.
The loss of control happened at the weighing post for trucks in Brossard, at the 15th kilometer, about four kilometers east of highway 30.
The driver of the vehicle, a 28 year-old man, hit the side of an articulate lorry truck going at its normal speed.
Truck on fire
“There was an impact in the gas tank of the truck which flamed up immediately”, said agent Ronald McInnis, spokesperson for Sûreté du Québec.
Already greatly damaged by the collision, the victims’ mini-van kept going for another hundred meters, to the middle band of the highway, leaving behind pieces of his body.
Vadim Schneider, a resident of the Outremont area, was thrown out of the vehicle and his death was not doubted. The other two passengers remained stuck in the destroyed mini-van. Driven to the Pierre-Boucher hospital, Jaclyn Linetsky didn’t survive.
Critical State
The only survivor was taken out of the vehicle thanks to the freeing pliers of the Longueuil firefighters. His condition was still critical in the evening.
The driver of the flamed lorry was able to make it out of his truck before being greatly wounded. He only suffered minor injuries.
The accident caused the closure of highway 3o West for many hours, which caused a long traffic jam. Circulation was deviated through the weighing post until the highway was reopened around 16:00.
Accident technicians from Sûreté du Québec tried to rebuild the circumstances of the tragic accident. A distraction or discomfort could explain this accident.
The 15/Love actors are devastated
The actors of the TV show 15/Love were completely devastated yesterday when they heard about the deaths of their companions, Vadim Schneider and Jaclyn Linetsky.

Jaclyn Linetsky was already known by small children for having been the English voice of Caillou between 2000 and 2002. Vadim Schneider, originally from France, had only been living in Québec for seven years.
The victims’ families were still in shock when, yesterday evening, the Journal got in touch with them.
“I have trouble realizing what is happening…” said Vadim’s father, Jean-Paul Schneider, before breaking down in tears
